Spring Clean Up Make Therrmopolis Shine
Mayor Mike Chimenti has proclaimed May 13-25, 2019 as town Spring Clean-Up. All residents and business owners are encouraged to clean their property in preparation for the upcoming summer season! Lets make Thermopolis Shine!!

May 13- 25, 2019 Saturday May 18, 2019 from 9am to 5pm will be Free Dump Day at the county Landfill for all town and county residents to encourage anyone who has the ability to dispose on their own. We encourage County Residents to use the FREE Dump Day. The County Landfill Rules still apply! Following items will NOT be accepted, Please DO NOT put the following items in the dumpsters: NO Tires, NO Appliances with freon, NO Concrete, Gravel, Or Dirt, NO construction debris generated by contractors, NO hazardous waste (waste oil, solvents, or batteries).

The town will offer the following resources to make this clean up a success:
4 Large Construction Dumpsters will be located at the following addresses for in town residents to use during the Clean- Up.
* 14th St/ Tennis Courts
* 9th St/ Big Horn
* 8th St/ Amoretti
* 200 Block 2nd St.
Fees/Admission
Normal Charges will still apply for Tires and Appliances with Freon delivered to Landfill.
Disposal of paint cans that still contain liquid should be handled in the following manner by using sand or dirt to absorb and/ dry the liquid and then place sealed cans in bags for disposal.
A metals disposal area in designated near Town Shop. All private citizens and contractors can use this area in lieu of hauling appliances or miscellaneous metal debris to dumpsters or landfill. Any Elderly or Impaired Town Residents who need assistance getting their disposed items to the dumpsters provided during Town Clean-Up may contact the Community Officer for scheduling help. Our Community Officer will be hangingYellow Advisement's on targeted addresses as the Town encourages Clean-Up Compliances. Lack of participation could result in Fines associated with Town Codes.
