About Us
Big Horn Basin Children's Center is an accredited school and a DFS licensed residential treatment facility operated by NWBOCES since 1970.
Wyoming students grades K-8 are referred for services by their school district or through a court order.
Programs are for youth with: behavioral & emotional problems, post traumatic stress, reactive attachment, bi-polar, mood disorders, personality disorders, aggression, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, self-esteem issues, self-harm, depression, suicidal thoughts, runaway issues, impulsivity, ADD, ADHD, anxiety disorder, impulse control dysfunction, obsessive compulsive, fire setting, property destruction, autism, and other mental health and behavioral needs.
Services include: educational; residential; behavioral management; counseling; family, recreational, speech, occupational, and physical therapy; health and physical education, parent training; community integration; life skills; medical; medication management; and transition services.
