The state's first legal distillery, Wyoming Whiskey released Batch 1 of their Small Batch Bourbon on December 1, 2012. WW uses only locally sourced non-GMO grains and aquifer water in all the products made in Kirby, 12 miles north of Thermopolis. Informational, free tastings are offered during store hours in the gift shop. Reservations are requested for groups of more than 8.
